Personally, I feel that the 1/100 models of the descaled MS such as the F91, Crossbone, and the most recent Victory to be perfect in size: not too bulky and big, and not too puny and small. The scale possesses both intricacy and detail. You'll truly appreciate the amount of detail and functionality of this model when compared to other models of its size, namely the HGUC Nu Gundam. What made me laugh is when I compared it to the HGUC Sazabi, which towered over it! Its not often to have a master grade MS that is smaller in stature to the HGUC MSs. I have both versions of this model, the normal type and the Harrison Martin Custom, which are 99% identical aside from the color scheme, and minor modification to the right arm armor. Actually, I got the Harrison type first because I dig dark MSs, and it was in fact the second master grade I've ever built, which means that it was poorly built with nub marks all over : ( And to be honest, I've always wanted to get another one so I can have a chance to show how much I've improved over the years, and I was able to get my hand on the normal version for less than $19 at Hobby Link Japan.

MSN-06S Sinanju
Series: Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn
Pilot: Full Frontal
Released: December 2008
Price: 7000 yen
Completed: N/A
Boxart
Original Design by Hajime Katoki
Bandai releases a "Best of the Year" master grade model every December, and Sinanju Ver. Ka is the one for 2008. Prior to the start of the Gundam Unicorn Anime series, I remember reading about a Gundam Convention where a poll was conducted to determine which MS fans would like to see made first: Sinanju or Kshatriya. Kshatriya won by a landslide : ) Personally, I'm glad that Bandai released this model first, and it did not disappoint. When I first saw the design of Sinanju, it immediate reminded me of the Shanel from Mobile Suit Gundam Another Story: Meaningless War 0091, which I believe is a doujinshi release.
MSN-04 Shanel
As I understand, the Shanel is suppose to be the "female" version of the MSN-04 Sazabi. Instead of possessing the diffuse mega particle cannon like the Sazabi, the Shanel focuses more on the funnels, which would explain its (her) strong resemblance to the Queleby.
Like the Unicorn Gundam, which received a slight altered model with the release of the OVA, a slightly modified Sinanju will most likely be released with episode 2, probably in the HGUC line. In comparison to the original design, the OVA version appears more menacing.
The model is everything one can ask for in a master grade: a full and highly articulated inner frame, sturdy and intricately detailed exterior armor, and the imposing size. the sharp trims around the edge of the armor gives the suit an intense dynamic presence rare among UC designs. The only problem with this model that is worth pointing out is the gold foil stickers, which can be quite a pain to apply.

Hello & Welcome!
Aside from building models, I like to do research on the design, history, background behind the mobile suits that we have all come to love. From star leads such as the RX-78-2 Gundam to the lesser known RX-105 Xi Gundam, I will be posting the results of my quest on this blog, as well as occasional news in the Gunpla world. Coinciding with the creation of this site is a gallery devoted to my Gundam models, and the link is available on the site. Hope you'll enjoy!
